28/11/2024

On Monday, 25th November at the Grimaldi Forum, six business leaders were honored in six different categories during the 13th Monaco Eco Club Awards, organized by the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) and the Nice-Matin Group. The ceremony was attended by Minister of State H.E. Mr. Didier Guillaume and Minister of Finance and Economy Mr. Pierre-André Chiappori. The evening highlighted the Principality's economic performance and influence.

For this 13th edition, the Monaco Eco Club Awards welcomed nearly 300 economic stakeholders and personalities to the Grimaldi Forum's Camille Blanc room - a success that continues year after year. Opening the evening, MEB President Michel Dotta, who helped create this event, celebrated its longevity: "since 2012, the Awards have honored 79 entities, paying tribute to the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our country and makes it a hub of economic excellence."

Simon Perrot, CEO of Nice-Matin Group, thanked the Monaco Eco Club members* for their participation in the awards jury, noting that "the task was not easy, largely due to the incredible talent of the nominees," who were cited for the first time.

Throughout the evening, Guillaume Rose, Executive General Director of MEB and master of ceremonies, and Christian Huault, Editorial Director of Nice-Matin Group as interviewer, welcomed six winners on stage in the categories of Manager of the Year, Sustainable Development, Innovation, International, Made in Monaco, and Special Jury Prize.

The awards were presented by representatives of Monaco Eco Club member companies and attending dignitaries, including H.E. Mr. Didier Guillaume, Minister of State, Government Counselor - Minister of Finance and Economy Mr. Pierre-André Chiappori, and National Council President Mr. Thomas Brezzo.

The Minister of State, attending the Awards ceremony for the first time, delivered a clear message to the assembly: "The Prince's Government is a pro-business government that welcomes challenges and economic development." Addressing the audience of Monaco's key economic players, he added, "You create this country's wealth; thanks to you, the Principality has a bright future ahead."
