Proactive and effective contribution to 13th World Chambers Congress
Monaco Economic Board (MEB) represented by its Deputy CEO Justin Highman, took part in the 13 th World Chambers Congress held in Geneva 21-23 June. More than 1,500 leaders and Chambers of Commerce representatives from 130 countries attended.
Organised by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG) in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), this edition highlighted the driving force role played by companies and chambers of commerce towards peace and prosperity.
Last held in 2021 during Expo 2020 Dubai, the event is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a top-level conference on a variety of themes such as multilateralism, innovation and sustainability. For MEB, it is also a chance to meet partner chambers, such as the Djibouti Chamber of Commerce with whom it organised promotional operations in 2022 and 2023 and make new contacts, particularly among those that it plans to visit such as the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a trip planned in 2024.
A biannual event, the next World Chambers Congress will be in Melbourne in 2025 and could present an opportunity for an MEB Trade Mission.
