The Monaco Economic Board (MEB) continues its momentum and offers you a particularly rich, varied, and high-quality agenda of events in the coming weeks:

In May, in anticipation of an economic mission by the MEB, Mr. Wang Dong, Minister of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy, ​​will discuss the opportunities offered by his country for companies in Monaco (on the 12th). This will be followed by another special B2B meeting session for MEB members (May 21), a roundtable discussion organized by Club Eco Monaco on the theme "Compliance with International Standards: Challenge or Opportunity for Monaco?" (May 22), a conference by economist Christophe Barraud (LIOR Global Partners) with the support of EFG (May 26), and a day of roundtables and individual meetings on the theme: "Developing, Establishing, and Innovating in Switzerland" (May 29).

June will also be packed with events; we will share more details in our next edition. In the meantime, please save the date for our 57th Members' Meeting, which will take place on June 30th!

"Business Destination" Conference: China

In anticipation of an upcoming MEB economic mission, Mr. Wang Dong, Minister of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy, ​​will give a lecture in collaboration with the Chinese Embassies in France and Monaco, and with the invaluable support of Her Excellency Ms. Marie-Pascale Boisson, Ambassador of Monaco to China. This presents another opportunity to discover the strengths of the world's second-largest economy.

Special B2B Meeting Session for MEB Members

Building on last year's success, the Monaco Economic Board is renewing its series of targeted, timed B2B meetings this year, offering the opportunity to meet MEB member companies.

The goal remains the same: to separate this event from the Members' Meeting cocktail reception by creating a dedicated, highly productive session!

The Monaco Eco Club invites you to attend a new conference organised by the Monaco Economic Board and the Nice-Matin Group on the theme: "Compliance with international standards: challenge or opportunity for Monaco?" with the participation of Mr Frédéric Cottalorda, Government Advisor - Minister of Finance and Economy.

Economic conference with Christophe Barraud

Christophe Barraud, Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management and Research at LIOR Global Partners, will share his perspective on the chaotic economic and geopolitical situation at a conference. This event promises to be particularly insightful. The conference is organized with the support of EFG Bank Monaco.

Event “Developing, establishing a presence and innovating in Switzerland”

The Consulate General of Switzerland in Marseille, the Consulate of Switzerland in Monaco, and the Swiss Business Hub France, along with the French-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of MonacoTech and the Monaco Economic Board, are pleased to invite you to a day of roundtables and individual meetings on the theme "Developing, Establishing, and Innovating in Switzerland." 

The event will take place at MonacoTech starting at 9:00 a.m.

The 57th MEB Members' Meeting paves the way for a promising new year

Monaco Economic Board strengthens ties with the United Arab Emirates

The Monaco Economic Board (MEB) organized a "Business Destination" conference dedicated to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday, April 28th at the Castelroc restaurant, with the participation of H.E. Mr. Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to France and Monaco. It was a particularly informative meeting.

Economic conference with Alessandro Binello as part of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week

Alessandro Binello, founder and CEO of the Quadrivio group (Autry, Sessùn, Twinset, Filippo De Laurentiis, Dondup, GCDS, 120% Lino, PT Torino, Rosantica...), shared his analysis of growth, brand transformation, and the evolving landscape of luxury fashion. This event was part of the "Monaco Economic Conference" (MEB conference in English), held during Monte-Carlo Fashion Week.

Monaco Economic Board asserts its role as Chamber of Commerce at its Annual General Meeting

On Wednesday, 25 March, at the Méridien Beach Plaza, the Monaco Economic Board invited its members to its Annual General Meeting. The event provided an opportunity to review its 2025 results and present its future projects. A key development was also confirmed: a refocus on its mission as a chamber of commerce. The networking cocktail of the 56th Members’ Meeting was a fitting conclusion to the evening. 

A forum to strengthen economic ties with Italy

On Friday, 13 March, the Monaco Economic Board took part in a business forum organised in the Principality by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Embassy in Monaco, in collaboration with the Prince's Government, notably through its Attractiveness Unit.

Monaco Economic Board members on a business trip to Zurich: the Principality seeking valuable exchanges

From 11 to 13 March 2026, the Monaco Economic Board carried out its first economic mission of the year in Zurich, Switzerland, bringing together 21 companies and 26 Monegasque representatives, mainly from the financial and legal sectors. This trip clearly confirmed the strong potential for developing economic relations between the two countries.
