The MEB remains active this summer and is already preparing your return to business! Discover the key events awaiting you starting in September to boost your activity.

On September 11, we will once again welcome economist Jean-Pierre Petit, in partnership with Jutheau Husson. On September 18, we head to the Monaco Business Show, featuring a conference by the Club Éco Monaco - Nice-Matin Group on the importance of security for the Monegasque economy, alongside the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Corsican Public Establishment of Commerce and Industry. On the 28th, the MEB will renew its partnership with the Monaco Order of Chartered Accountants, in collaboration with 99 Avocats Associés, for a conference on business law. Then, on September 29, Muriel Deya (Monaco Customs) and Etienne Pollet (Nice Customs) will decode the EU's new free trade agreements.

On October 5, an Extraordinary General Meeting will convene regarding the MEB's transition into the 'Monaco Chamber of Commerce.' This will be followed by the 58th Members' Rendez-vous at the Yacht Club. The following day, we will partner with the Chambre Monégasque du Numérique for a conference dedicated to the challenges of cybersecurity.

On the international front, the Monaco Chamber of Commerce will welcome a German delegation from the BWA on October 9, in collaboration with the Embassy of Monaco in Germany. From October 13 to 16, we will take you on an economic mission to Montenegro, co-organized with the local Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate of Montenegro in Monaco. Finally, China will be in the spotlight at the end of the year in November, featuring both an economic mission and our continued participation in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.

Economic conference by Jean-Pierre Petit

Jean-Pierre PETIT, Chairman of Les Cahiers Verts de l'Économie, will deliver a conference in the Principality on 11 September, sharing his analysis of the global macroeconomic outlook.

Organised with the support of our partner and member Jutheau Husson, the event will take the form of a breakfast conference at the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.

Participation in the Monaco Business Trade Show

As a partner of the Monaco Business Trade Show and in collaboration with the Nice-Matin Group, the MEB will organize the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the MEB and the Public Commercial and Industrial Establishment of Corsica on September 18. This will be followed by a meeting centered around the Club de l'Eco Monaco at the Méridien Beach Plaza.

In partnership with the Monaco Order of Chartered Accountants and in collaboration with 99 Avocats Associés, the MEB will organize a conference on September 28 at the Novotel on the modernization of corporate law, themed: 'What governance models for Monegasque companies: the impact of Law 1573 on management?

Conference on Import / Export

On the occasion of this conference organized by the MEB, Muriel Deya, Head of the Monaco Customs Office, and Etienne Pollet, Business Advisor at the Nice Regional Customs Directorate, will provide a comprehensive breakdown of the new free trade agreements signed by the European Union, notably with Mercosur, India, Indonesia, Australia, and the United States.

The Extraordinary General Meeting will convene on October 5 to invite members to vote on the integration of the MEB as the Monaco Chamber of Commerce, marking a promising new statutory evolution. This key event will be followed by the 58th Members' Rendez-vous, providing an ideal opportunity to extend discussions and network.

58th Members' Meeting

To kick off the new season in style and on the occasion of the MEB’s transformation into the "Monaco Chamber of Commerce", the 58th Members' Meeting will take place on October 5th at the Yacht Club de Monaco. Prior to this event, an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held to formalize this statutory transition.

The Monaco Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome the delegation from the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) this October 9 at the Stars of Monaco. This event is organized under the aegis of the Embassy of Monaco in Germany and in close collaboration with the BWA.

Economic Mission to Montenegro - PODGORICA & PORTO MONTENEGRO

Heading for the Balkans! From October 13th to 16th, the Monaco Chamber of Commerce is rolling out its economic mission to Montenegro, exploring Podgorica and Porto Montenegro. Trade mission to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Macau

Under the aegis of the Embassy of Monaco in China and in conjunction with an Invest Monaco promotional tour, the Monaco Chamber of Commerce will organize an economic mission from November 3 to 10 to the Pearl River Delta megalopolis, visiting Hong Kong, Macao, and Shenzhen (in collaboration with Monaco Telecom for the latter).

At the 57th Members’ Meeting, the MEB announces its development and a busy autumn programme

IMSEE reviews a somewhat weaker 2025 – and explains why this is not (too) worrying

On Tuesday, 23 June, at the Novotel Monte-Carlo, Alexandre Bubbio and his team presented the main economic indicators for 2025 to mark the publication of Monaco en Chiffres, the annual compendium that gathers all data collected and analysed by the Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (IMSEE). While many figures are down, primarily due to the completion of major projects such as Mareterra, they remain very positive and promising for the future.

Since June 1st, the ATA Carnet has been gradually going digital

In a world where speed and traceability have become essential, customs formalities are taking a decisive step forward. Since June 1st, 2026, the ATA Carnet has been evolving into a digital format with the official launch of the e-ATA Carnet. Its implementation is already effective across the 27 European Union countries, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway, and overseas territories. The rollout will continue through 2028.

The compendium brings together all the data collected and analyzed by IMSEE throughout the year 2025. All chapters of the digital version of Monaco en Chiffres are available for free download on the IMSEE website. The physical copy of the compendium is available for purchase at a price of €15.
