EN QUELQUES MOTS

Le printemps qui arrive annonce une intense éclosion d'évènements pour les membres du MEB dans les semaines à venir !

Présentation des services dématérialisés de formalités d'exportation, Assemblée générale suivie du 48e RDV des adhérents, deux conférences complémentaires sur la thématique du sport et du business, un séminaire pour les spécialistes de la propriété intellectuelle et une conférence sur l'intelligence artificielle dont les détails vous seront donnés ultérieurement.

Côté international, deux missions économiques sont dans le viseur : au Maroc en avril puis à Londres en juin. Un accueil d'entrepreneurs autrichiens en Principauté est aussi prévu fin avril ainsi qu'une conférence sur l'économie britannique en prévision du déplacement au Royaume Uni.

 À VENIR

Export : présentation des nouvelles procédures de formalités internationales sur le portail GEFI

En tant que chambre de commerce, le MEB poursuit la dématérialisation de ses services de formalités internationales d'exportation sur le portail dédié GEFI (commun à toutes les chambres de commerce françaises et de Monaco). La présentation didactique de ses nouvelles possibilités est proposée gratuitement à l'intention des personnes chargées des formalités d'export  des entreprises de la Principauté.

Assemblée Générale du MEB et 48e Rendez-vous des Adhérents

Le Monaco Economic Board réunira ses membres à l'occasion de son Assemblée Générale au cours de laquelle seront présentés le bilan 2023 et les perpectives 2024 de l'association. Le 48e Rendez-vous des Adhérents organisé dans la foulée, permettra de conclure cette séquence, un moment typique du MEB alliant réseautage, convivialité et efficacité.

Club Eco Monaco : sport & business

Le Club de l'Eco - Groupe Nice Matin organise une conférence le 9 avril sur le thème L’économie du sport : source de croissance et d’emplois. Des acteurs incontournables du sport à Monaco interviendront au cours de cette évènement animé par Christian Huault, Rédacteur en chef à Nice-Matin.

"Monaco Economic Conferences" avec Sebastian Coe, Président de World Athletics

Dans le cadre de ses conférences en anglais "Monaco Economic Conferences", le MEB a l'honneur d'accueillir Sebastian Coe, Président de World Athletics (la fédération internationale d'athlétisme), sur le thème "Quels liens entre le sport et l’entreprise ?"
Un évènement en partenariat avec CFM Indosuez.

Mission économique Maroc

En collaboration avec le Club des Entrepreneurs Monégasques en Afrique (CEMA), le MEB propose à ses membres de partir au Maroc, plus précisement à Casablanca et à Rabat, afin de saisir les opportunités offertes par un pays pivot entre l'Europe et l'Afrique.

Séminaire sur la Propriété Intellectuelle

Organisé par l'Organisation Mondiale de la Propriété Intellectuelle en collaboration avec MonacoTech, le Monaco Economic Board et l'Office de la Propriété Industrielle de Monaco, ce séminaire qui se déroulera en anglais, sera l'occasion de découvrir ou de mettre à jour vos connaissances, à la fois sur les outils de Propriété Intellectuelle et les services offerts par les organismes spécialisés, en vue de maximiser le potentiel de votre entreprise sur la scène nationale et internationale.

Accueil d'une délégation Autrichienne

Une délégation d'une trentaine entrepreneurs autrichiens originaires de la région de Carinthie, menée par l'organisme de promotion économique Advantage Austria sera présente en Principauté afin de favoriser de nouvelles synergies. La délégation sera essentiellement orientée sur les activités de conseil et de nouvelles technologies.

Conférence : les atouts économiques du Royaume Uni

Le Monaco Economic Board accueillera Mme Jo Hawley, Directrice de la section commerciale à l'ambassade du Royaume Uni à Paris, dans le cadre de la mission économique qui se déroulera à Londres en juin. L'occasion de mieux apprécier les évolutions du pays depuis le brexit mais également d'en savoir plus sur ce déplacement en cours de préparation.

Mrs Evelyne Genta, Monaco's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, the MEB is offering its members the chance to seize the opportunities offered by the British capital thanks to its many local networks. An eagerly awaited and promising trip. A request for interest will be sent out shortly.

Le chef économiste de COFACE livre ses prévisions aux membres du MEB

Jeudi 8 février, le Monaco Economic Board, en collaboration avec Gramaglia Assurances et la Banque Populaire Méditerranée, accueillait Jean-Christophe Caffet, le Chef-économiste de Coface, à l’occasion d’un petit-déjeuner conférence. Un exposé passionnant qui a fourni aux entrepreneurs présents une visibilité sur les tendances économiques à venir.

Une délégation Tunisienne reçue en Principauté pour un forum de haut niveau

Dans le cadre de la 4e Commission bilatérale des Affaires étrangères Monaco-Tunisie organisée par le Département des Relations Extérieures et de la Coopération, le Monaco Economic Board (MEB), en partenariat avec la Fédération des Entreprises Monégasques (FEDEM), a organisé l’accueil d’une délégation Tunisienne. 

Celle-ci était menée par le Ministre des Affaires Étrangères, de la Migration et des Tunisiens à l’Etranger M. Nabil Ammar, accompagné des dirigeants de l’Union tunisienne de l'industrie, du commerce et de l'artisanat (UTICA), association récipiendaire de rien de moins qu’un Prix Nobel de la Paix.

Bulletin de l'Economie 4e trimestre 2023 

L'économie de la Principauté de Monaco poursuit sa croissance en 2023 après celle de 2022. Quasiment tous les agrégats ont progressé par rapport à l'année précédente. Les données sont cumulées depuis le 1er janvier. Ce bulletin reflète donc les résultats économiques de l'année 2023. En complément et afin d’en améliorer la lisibilité, les principaux résultats trimestriels sont désormais présentés au travers d'une infographie.

With spring just around the corner, we can expect an intense blossoming of events for MEB members over the coming weeks !

Presentation of our "International Procedures" Office regarding export formalities, General Meeting followed by the 48th ‘Rendez-Vous des Adhérents’, two complementary conferences on the theme of sport and business and a seminar for intellectual property specialists.

On the international front, two trade missions are in the spotlight: to Morocco in April and to London in June. Austrian entrepreneurs will also visit the Principality at the end of April, as will a conference on the British economy in preparation for the trip to the UK.

Export: presentation of the new international formalities procedures on the GEFI portal

As a chamber of commerce, the MEB is continuing to dematerialize its international export formalities services on the dedicated GEFI portal (shared by all French and Monaco chambers of commerce). A free presentation of its new features is offered to those responsible for export formalities in companies in the Principality.

Annual General meeting & 48e Rendez-vous des adhérents

The Monaco Economic Board will gather its members for its General Assembly, during which the association's 2023 results and 2024 outlook will be presented. The 48th Members' Meeting, organized immediately afterwards, will conclude this event with a typical MEB moment combining networking, conviviality and efficiency.

Club Eco : Conference sport & business

The Club de l'Eco - Groupe Nice Matin is organizing a conference on April 9th on the theme of "The Sports Economy: A Source of Growth and Jobs."

Key players in the sports industry in Monaco will speak at this event hosted by Christian Huault, Editor-in-Chief of Nice-Matin.

As part of its "Monaco Economic Conferences" (conferences in English), the MEB is honoured to welcome Sebastian Coe, President of World Athletics (the international athletics federation), on the theme "What links between sport and business?"
An event in partnership with CFM Indosuez.

In collaboration with the Club des Entrepreneurs Monégasques en Afrique (CEMA), the MEB is offering its members the chance to travel to Morocco, and more specifically to Casablanca and Rabat, to seize the opportunities offered by this pivotal country between Europe and Africa.

Intellectual Property Workshop

Organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization in collaboration with MonacoTech, the Monaco Economic Board and the Monaco Industrial Property Office, this seminar, which will take place in English, will be an opportunity to discover or update your knowledge, both on Intellectual Property tools and the services offered by specialized organizations, with a view to maximizing the potential of your business on the national and international scene.

Welcoming an Austrian delegation

A delegation of around thirty Austrian entrepreneurs from the Carinthia region, led by the business promotion organisation Advantage Austria, will be in the Principality to foster new synergies. The delegation will focus primarily on consulting and new technologies.

Conference: the economic assets of the United Kingdom

The Monaco Economic Board will be welcoming Ms Jo Hawley, Deputy Trade Commissioner to Europe and Director of France at the UK Embassy in Paris, as part of the economic mission to London in June. This will be an opportunity to gain a better understanding of developments in the country since Brexit, as well as to find out more about the trip, which is currently being prepared.

COFACE'S chief economist presents his forecasts to MEB members

On Thursday 8 February, the Monaco Economic Board, in partnership with Gramaglia Assurances and Banque Populaire Méditerranée, welcomed Jean-Christophe Caffet, Coface's Chief Economist, to a breakfast conference. A fascinating presentation that gave the entrepreneurs in attendance an insight into future economic trends.

A Tunisian delegation visits the Principality for a high-level forum

As part of the 4th Monegasque-Tunisian Bilateral Foreign Affairs Commission organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Monaco Economic Board (MEB), in partnership with the Fédération des Entreprises Monégasques (FEDEM), organised the welcoming of a Tunisian delegation. 

It was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mr Nabil Ammar, accompanied by the leaders of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts (UTICA), an association that has won nothing less than the Nobel Peace Prize.

Economy Bulletin - 4th quater 2023

The economy of the Principality of Monaco continues to rise in 2023 after the growth seen in 2022. Almost all economic aggregates have increased compared to the previous year. In addition, and to make them easier to read, the main quarterly results are now presented in the form of an infographic.
