AGRIMONTANA INTERNATIONAL
Azienda Agrimontana, founded in 1972 in Borgo San Dalmazzo (Cuneo) in Piedmont, Italy, has rapidly become the market leader for candied chestnuts and fruit, as well as for jams. This family-run business, rooted in the values of tradition and authenticity, is fully dedicated to making products using only natural ingredients, with no preservatives, colorants or artificial flavors, and targets not only pastry chefs, chocolatiers, ice-cream makers and restaurateurs, but also end consumers.
Agrimontana stands out for its ability to gently preserve the fruits of nature, making the most of refined craftsmanship while integrating modern technologies to optimize the production process. The company attaches the utmost importance to preserving the organoleptic qualities of the fruit, ensuring that each product reflects the rich flavours and aromas of its terroir.
Confisage, a traditional method of preserving fruit with sugar, was its first activity, followed by the preparation of jams and other products for patisserie, chocolate and gelato, both traditional and innovative, always under the banner of 100% naturalness and the highest quality.
Born as a cocoa-based product offering to complement Agrimontana, Agricacao aims to offer a complete range of chocolate couvertures and ingredients for all food trades. Agricacao is a family story, combining passion, a quest for excellence, a virtuous supply chain and professional expertise for over 50 years. Respect for the work of farmers and raw materials, as well as listening to the most demanding professionals, are the values upheld by Agricacao. From selecting the beans on the plantation to processing them into chocolate and cocoa-based ingredients, each stage is carefully studied to preserve the unique characteristics of each batch of cocoa. Developed in collaboration with passionate and creative chefs of international renown such as Fabrice Gillotte and Julien Dechenaud.
