Korean chaebols visit Monaco

On Friday 1 September, the MEB welcomed a high-level delegation from South Korea to the premises of MonacoTech. This meeting is part of the successful relationship between the MEB and this "Asian dragon", particularly following the trade mission organised in Seoul in 2019.

The delegation was composed of leaders of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and leading representatives of major Korean groups, the famous chaebols, such as SK Telecom, Doosan and Lotte.
Guillaume ROSE and Justin HIGHMAN presented the Principality's economic assets to them and established new high-quality contacts in the Land of the Morning Calm.

Following the discussions, in which Martin Peronnet, CEO of Monaco Telecom, took part, the businessmen visited the premises of MonacoTech, the Principality's business incubator 🚀, guided by its Director Sandrine Sauval-Chanteloube, and had the opportunity to discover several of the startups present.

The reception concluded with a business lunch, synonymous with more informal discussions as well as in-depth exchanges.
